Mark Pulisic, the father of Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic, insists that the 19-year-old will always be kept "in the loop of what's going on" regarding his future.

Chelsea have been alerted that Borussia Dortmund are ready to sell Christian Pulisic after news emerged that the club are ready to offload the US worldwide for around £65 million ($85m).

The US global managed to clock up a total of 42 appearances in all competitions, bagging five goals and seven assists in the process.

Pulisic impressed for Dortmund last season - chalking up with five goals and seven assists in 42 games in all competitions.

But according to ESPN FC, Dortmund have received no formal bids for Pulisic and expect him to remain with the club for the coming season.

The young American forward is one of world football's hottest prospects after breaking onto the scene with Dortmund.

Liverpool is also believed to be interested, however, nothing concrete is expected to come from the Reds who have already sanctioned a few marquee signings in this summer's transfer window.

German League champions were tipped to land the skillful playmaker, but European champions Real seem to have jumped in the chase while Chelsea are said to have made contact with Dortmund.

Chelsea are clearly eager to get their man though and stories out of Germany are suggesting that £65m could be enough to sign Pulisic, who is stalling on a new contract with the Bundesliga giants.

The veracity of Bild's claims remains to be seen, but with just two years left on his current contract and seemingly no prospect of the two parties agreeing new terms it is possible.
