Finding himself buried among some trees, Anderson tried to find his way back onto the fairway but smashed his shot into the root of a tree in front of him, the ball rebounding at a rate of knots straight into his face. Surely Golf is a sport James would stay away from, henceforth.

Fresh from the win against India in a heart wrenching test series which was wrapped early within fourth day, James with team mate Stuart Broad went to relax by playing Golf. Anderson later confirmed that the ball did hit him in the face.

Anderson and Broad are expected to be rested for some of the Test series against India this summer but they have been named in the England squad for the second match at Lord's, which gets underway on Thursday. While India will have a lot to think as far as combinations are concerned, England has dropped Dawid Malan and all-rounder Ben Stokes for 2nd Test and replaced them with Ollie Pope and Chris Woakes.
