Leon Bailey reveals Liverpool and Chelsea want to sign him

"There's concrete interest", Bailey told German publication Kicker.

Liverpool are interested in Leon Bailey and Bayer Leverkusen are apparently ready to consider bids for the winger for around £45million.

His club for their part, seem reluctant to let Bailey's talent leave Leverkusen, hoping instead that he'll continue his development at the club before departing for a bigger fee later in his career - as voiced by club captain Sven Bender recently.

"What I can say is that my full focus is on developing myself as a young player, and that's what I'll focus on".

The 20-year-old scored nine goals in the Bundesliga last season but admits Bayer have their work cut out to cut the gap between themselves and the league's dominant side Bayern Munich.
