Paul Pogba tells team-mates he wants Barcelona move

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has warned the club not to sell France World Cup star Paul Pogba and instead to focus on strengthening the squad.

Blockbuster deals, by their very nature, are long-drawn processes, and while the few days left in the English transfer window may still have something in store, one can't say so for certain.

It was a hard season at Old Trafford for Pogba past year, but he ended it on a high being a key player for France as they lifted the World Cup in Russian Federation.

The 20-year-old wore the famous number 1o during United's last pre-season match against German champions Bayern Munich, which the Bundesliga winners won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Javi Martinez.

News coming out of England suggests that Premier League duo Manchester United and Chelsea could be involved in an exciting swap deal in the lead-up to deadline day. However, there have been constant rumors of the 25-year-old Pogba having bust-ups with manager Mourinho as the two clashed with their particular ego's.
