The attorney for the former wife of fired Ohio State assistant football coach Zach Smith says the school never contacted her to discuss the allegations of domestic abuse against him. Head coach Urban Meyer was placed on paid leave as the university investigates what he knew and did about the allegations.

Courtney Smith's attorney said in a statement that Smith will cooperate with the university's investigation.

The statement also claimed that Smith has "never been charged with an OVI or any other criminal offense" and that she made "concerted efforts to press charged of domestic abuse" against Zach Smith, a former wide receivers coach for the Buckeyes.

"Bring your signs, paint your face, do whatever youve got to do - we want to be heard, we want our coach back", Hamms said in a video posted Sunday to his Facebook account.

Google's Pixel 3 might come with a pair of wired Pixel Buds
Does speedy software updates make up for Google's odd design choices? First, the notch design of the Pixel 3 XL looks like a mess. It isn't clear if Google will release this in Malaysia so you'll probably need to turn to grey importers if you're interested.

"Ms. Smith is cautiously optimistic that The Ohio State University's investigative committee will determine if proper reporting protocol was followed upon learning of the ongoing, abuse allegations against Zach Smith", Leveridge said in her statement. The wide-receivers coach/recruiting coordinator was sacked July 24 after his ex-wife sought a restraining order against him. He insisted that he has "always followed proper reporting protocols and procedures" by "elevating the issues to the proper channels" whenever he has "learned of an incident involving a student-athlete, coach or member of our staff".

So why are the men's accusations being so challenged and even summarily dismissed by some people before Ohio State's inquiry or several lawsuits that were filed in mid-July against the university are even close to being complete?

Furthermore, Leveridge stated that Courntey Smith has not received any compensation for two recent interviews in which she asserted that Shelley Meyer was aware of the alleged abuse at the hands of Zach Smith.

Meyer has gone 73-8 in six seasons at Ohio State, including a national championship in 2014 and two Big Ten titles after winning a pair of national titles at Florida.
