Barcelona have confirmed that they have reached an agreement to sell Yerry Mina to Everton for €30 million.

Bernard was out of contract after leaving Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk in June.

However, Manchester United were put off by the excessive demands made by the player's agents, which ultimately resulted in them pulling the plug on the move. "He is a very good coach and he has achieved really good things at other clubs", he said in a statement. This is a great opportunity for me and I am looking forward to competing here.

I spoke to Lucas and he told me all about the Club, which also made me keen to come here'. But I was also convinced Everton could improve me and that I would be able to show my best as a player here'.

Mina has signed on a permanent five-year deal worth €30million (approx £27.2million), while Portugal global Gomes has arrived at Goodison on a one-season loan.
