After Going down to the turf and grasping his knee during the Pack's season opener against the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field, quarterback Aaron Rodgers headed to the team's medical tent. Robertson-Harris was credited with the sack, and the play resulted in Rodgers leaving the game with a knee injury.

"It was going to have to take something really catastrophic injury-wise to keep me off the field in the second half", Rodgers said.

On a goal-line play on the first drive where Trubisky ran it in for the touchdown, Chicago had left tackle Charles Leno Jr. lined up as the slot receiver. The first touchdown from Rodgers was an absolutely insane 37-yard dime to the back corner of the end zone (from the far hash) to find Geronimo Allison that indicated he was at least somewhat more comfortable driving on that left knee to put some juice on the ball. He had heavy pressure on Rodgers early in the second quarter which resulted in a sack by Roy Robertson-Harris.

"I prepared all offseason for the first game of the season and I wanted to ... make an impact", Mack said.

This one might not rank up there in importance with his Super Bowl XLV MVP performance, the Hail Mary in Detroit or the sideline pass to Jared Cook in the divisional playoff game at Dallas.

The Bears, after a gutting 24-23 loss Sunday night at Lambeau Field - loss No. 17 in their last 20 meetings with the rivals to the north - can certainly attest to that. I worked technique a little better than I did in the first half.

But he disagreed with WTA CEO Steve Simon, who said men and women should be treated equally but that wasn't the case Saturday. Simon continued: 'We also think the issue of coaching needs to be addressed and should be allowed across the sport.

First, Mack wrestled the ball away from Kizer while sacking him after the Packers had reached the Bears' 9.

"You figure that into Green Bay's game", Hicks said.

Trubisky continued the momentum after halftime, leading the Bears on a 60-yard drive that led to a 33-yard Parkey field goal that made it 20-0.

It was just as great on the other side of the football, with new edge rusher Khalil Mack recording a strip-sack of Packers backup quarterback DeShone Kizer and then a pick-six on the following possession late in the first half. He also ran for 32 yards on seven carries, including a 2-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. This is a young team with high hopes that go well beyond this opening game.

Just 3-of-7 for 13 yards when he was carted to the locker room, Rodgers completed 16 of his next 19 passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns. "We've seen it before". We talked about finishing, and we didn't do that. "We just got to come in, come together as a team".

After that, it was Mack and the defense that took center stage.
