Nintendo also charged through a short list of other Final Fantasy tidbits we'd previously heard about, but the headliner was news that Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition - a mobile game we already knew was bound for the Switch - has just been made available for immediate download on the Nintendo eShop. You might as well start calling your Switch "the Final Fantasy machine".

Most of those games are slated for 2019, but they seem set to trickle out at a steady pace: Final Fantasy XV launches this week, followed by World of Final Fantasy Maxima on November 6th and Chocobo Mystery Dungeon this winter. Also, in 2019, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X and X-2, and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will all also be arriving on the platform. They will be most likely be the upgraded versions, which means fans have somewhat sharper graphics to look forward to, as well as a variety of cheat codes that will make some significant quality of life improvements for those who want to experience the games without some of the old-school gameplay mechanics at work.

Like father, like son: George and Timothy Weah play on same day
Liberia has never qualified for a World Cup but fell just a point short of reaching the 2002 finals with Weah and Debbah to the fore.

The first game is Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy, and it's a souped-up version of 2007 Wii title Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon. Additionally, what about all of those Final Fantasy games that appeared on Nintendo hardware? And so is World of Final Fantasy, as a new version called World of Final Fantasy Maxima (also coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One).
