Nintendo Switch Online can be purchased in three ways - by a one-month subscription for $3.99 Dollars, a three-month subscription for $7.99, and a 12-month subscription for $19.99 USD. For some of the single-player games that don't support cooperative play, the second person can point out enemies, hidden areas, and items for their partner.

The update brings Nintendo in line with other major game platforms like Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and Steam, which have long made it easy to download and play digital games on multiple hardware units. The app also uses a database file that lists compatible NES games in plaintext.

KapuccinoHeck discovered that all the game files on Switch Online are run of the mill.nes files that can be found on the plethora of ROM sites across the internet.

The NES Switch controllers will start shipping out in mid-December 2018. KapuccinoHeck advises against loading ROMs into Switch Online because Nintendo does random checks at frequent intervals when the service is running. It's even more ironic that this process left an easily exploitable vulnerability in their own paid service.
