Tourist-spot crash kills 18 in limo, 2 bystanders

Daily Gazette photos of the scene show what appears to be a white limousine down a small ravine off the road, near the Apple Barrel Country Store.

"If I was the apple barrel owners I would be demanding some sort of barriers to protect my business and customers". "They had their whole lives ahead of them", she said.

The ensuing 911 calls drew a phalanx of first responders.

It was unclear how many other people, if any, were injured.
