Kanye West has launched into an expletive-filled rant in the Oval Office as he lavished praise on US President Donald Trump.

West credits Trump with stopping a potential war with North Korea and is encouraging Trump to swap his usual Air Force One jet for a hydrogen-powered plane.

With that, West launched into a almost 10-minute-long speech that the rapper said was "from the soul", according to White House pool reports.

What could help Chicago, West said, was the opening up of industries and tax breaks. "He gets it." He also joked that he could be a good presidential candidate to which Kanye responded, "Only after 2024".

Skripal poisoning suspect is Russian doctor who works for military intel
The investigative reporting website Bellingcat identified Mishkin, 39 , and said he worked for Russia's GRU intelligence service. In another report, Bellingcat established that "Petrov" was specifically working for Russia's military intelligence, the GRU.

"Well if he [Jeff Sessions] doesn't [reform the justice system] then he gets overruled by me, because I make the decisions, he doesn't", President Trump said.

Kanye's visit follows by several months a similar trip to the White House by his celebrity wife, Kim Kardashian West, who met with Trump on May 30 and persuaded him to grant clemency to Alice Johnson, who was serving a life sentence for a nonviolent drug charge in Tennessee. Supporters of West's music have described him as a political sellout. In return, Mr. Trump has lauded the rapper on Twitter, and said he has been helpful with support among African-Americans. The New York Times first reported news of the meeting. "I could see it". "It's lovely though." He said that Trump had given him (we assume metaphorically) "a Superman cape" to help do good.

Earlier Thursday, Trump told "Fox and Friends" Thursday that West is "a different kind of guy and that's OK with me". "I'm talking about the it-will-never-happens of the world, people in high school told you things would never happen". "When I put this hat on, I felt like Superman". "One new and great FACT - African American unemployment is the lowest ever recorded in the history of our Country".

West also had some clarification about his mental health.
