West, who was wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat, said the Trump-campaign staple made him "feel like Superman".

"Let's stop worrying about the future all we have is today", Kanye expressed in his lengthy speech.

"You know, my dad and my mum separated, so I didn't have a lot of male energy in my home".

Talking at speed on everything from Mr Trump's protectionist trade polices to black gun crime and "infinite amounts of universe", West left the normally talkative president nearly speechless with his performance.

West's first visit to Mr Trump was at his eponymous Manhattan skyscraper in 2016, a month after he won the election, but this was the rapper's first trip to the White House.

The president didn't respond to that idea in front of reporters.

"I didn't mean to put you on the (spot), bro", Kanye told Trump, who said "I'm open to everything" about the subject.

Greg Gutfeld ripped the media at-large for calling the Trump-West summit "bonkers" and appeared to "dog whistle" that the rapper has mental issues.

Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown, who has previously discussed issues facing the African-American community with Trump, the President's daughter and adviser, Ivanka Trump, and her husband and White House adviser Jared Kushner, were also in attendance.

Even scientists are shocked by the latest United Nations report on climate change
While the United Nations panel says technically that's possible, it saw little chance of the needed adjustments happening. The report also notes that "any remaining emissions would need to be balanced by removing Carbon dioxide from the air".

Hurricane Michael roars ashore as strongest storm to hit Florida Panhandle
A pine tree punched a hole in their roof and his ears even popped when the barometric pressure went lower. Surges of as high as 14 feet are expected around where Michael made landfall near Apalachicola, Florida.

Both Brown and West have been vocal supporters of the president. "I just channelled it", the musician said.

West has been publicly supportive of Trump since the president was elected, tweeting a photo of himself sporting a "Make America Great Again" this April and lauding Trump during the closing moments of a "Saturday Night Live" appearance in September.

Trump said: "That's really nice".

West said he spoke with advocates who believe that stop-and-frisk programs, in which police detain and pat down pedestrians without probable cause, harm relationships between city governments and residents.

"I'm standing in that spot", West replied.

Seated across from Trump at the famous Resolute Desk, West began the Oval Office meeting - which also included NFL Hall of Famer Jim Brown and Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner - with a almost 10-minute-long speech that the rapper said was "from the soul", according to White House pool reports. "One of the moves I love that liberals try to do - a liberal would try to control a black person through the concept of racism because they know that we are very proud, emotional people".

West said the president had inspired him to sign a shoe design contract with Adidas.

West couldn't help praising the man across from him. "We do need reform".

"Oh! It's good energy in this", he said.

Trump told Fox and Friends Thursday: "He's a different kind of guy and that's OK with me".
