APPLE HAS ANNOUNCED a 30 October launch event where it's expected to unveil new iPad Pros and new MacBooks.

Apple is expected to announce something before the end of October, although time is indeed starting to run out if an all-out event is going to be held.

Just slightly over a month since Apple had introduced the new iPhone trio, the Cupertino company will be having another special event in less than two weeks' time. The new Mac Mini Pro and a new Macbook seem plausible and the MacBook Air needs an update as its years behind. The upgraded tablet will reportedly be made available in 10.5in and 12.9in variants, both of which will boast slimmer bezels, shrunken dimensions compared to Apple's previous efforts, Apple's A11X Bionic CPU and a TrueDepth camera system that will enable Face ID for biometric authentication.

Unusually, this year, each invite came with a different stylized Apple logo graphic, suggesting that this event will focus on creative drawing and graphics uses for the iPad Pro.

Scholes: I never saw 'selfish' Sanchez as a Manchester United player
Now it's just a moaning Jose, which frustrates you. "He's been given fortunes to spend and he's bought a lot of these players". Arsenal hero David Seaman has criticised Paul Scholes over his constant sniping at Manchester United .

Officers reviewed the security footage and canvased the neighborhood, asking residents if they recognized the child . They said that the youngster appears to be unharmed, and that he is now under Child Protective Services custody.

The iPad Pro is Apple's effort to build a tablet for the enterprise, but it would be a better business tool with these features.

The addition of Face ID biometrics to hardware outside the iPhone range is also in the mix, according to some reports. Rumors indicate that Apple could be adding a USB-C port to the iPad Pro for 4K HDR video output.

I'll be curious to see if Apple makes any mention of their Air Power wireless charger that has been delayed and was not talked about at all at the iPhone event. This will mark the first Apple product introduction to take place in NY since the company unveiled its digital textbooks service in 2012. During the upcoming event, the company will likely announce revamped iPad Pro models, which are rumored to include Apple's Face ID technology and a display that goes almost edge to edge.

Further computers you might see at the Brooklyn event include a new Mac Mini, which could have various options tailored for power users, app developers, and HTPC users. Do keep your fingers crossed as Apple may surprise us.
