As she belted out 1991 hit The Promise of a New Day, Paula strutted forward to greet her adoring fans though as she reached the edge of the platform she proceeded to fall head first off the stage.

The Straight Up singer went straight down as she reached out to grab fans' hands at the front of the stage at the Hard Rock Live venue in Biloxi and lost her balance.

The fall is the second mishap since the tour began in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Thursday, October 18 - the Grammy victor was unable to perform at her second stop in Lake Charles, Louisiana, due to what she claimed was the venue of Golden Nugget Lake Charles' inability "to accommodate" her stage and show. Windsor will be the fourth.

Unfortunately, it seems like she miscalculated her next step and fell right off the tall stage, causing the crowd to gasp.

Long before her days as one of the original American Idol judges, Abdul was a cheerleader for the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers.

The Straight Up Paula! Hopefully, she'll be more careful the rest of the tour - the fall could have been so much worse!

Paula Abdul has been in the entertainment industry for over three decades and now looking back at her career, the star has some advice she'd give to her up-and-coming self. It's unclear if she hurt herself, but she didn't show it. Fact is.

Abdul, who churned out six No. 1 Billboard songs in the late '80s and early '90s, hadn't addressed the tumble on social media as of Monday morning.
