Ariana Grande Stumbles, Laughs While Performing ‘Thank U, Next’ on ‘Ellen’

The "God Is A Woman" hitmaker, 25, performed her breakup anthem, "Thank U, Next" for the first time on the November 7 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Ariana Grande performed her latest single "thank u, next" for the first time on Ellen and her "First Wives Club" dance routine saw her nearly fall down. Dressed in all white, the ladies performed synchronized moves on stage, which was set up to look like a wedding reception from the 1996 movie.

At one point, she climbed on top of a chair and almost fell on her way down.

"This one gon" last / "Cause her name is Ari / And I'm so good with that", she sang without missing a note, adding a self-deprecating chuckle.

Ariana's promo for new song "thank u, next" appears to be based all around classic films, with the artwork for the single being based on a book from cult film "Mean Girls". One taught me love, one taught me patience, and one taught me pain'.

After fans picked up on the lyrics in "thank u, next" directly referencing her former boyfriends including Mac Miller and Pete Davidson, Ariana revealed that she'd actually sent it to her exes days before she released it. She finished the performance with a smile, and danced down the aisles of the set while the audience cheered. "I thought we were supposed to exit".
