Coming soon? Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is working on a two-hour film based on the wildly-popular AMC series.

Hit US television series Breaking Bad may have achieved that rare feat - a ideal ending - but it doesn't mean that creator Vince Gilligan isn't planning to write an extra chapter in the drugs drama.

"The kidnapped man is Jesse Pinkman and the movie will follow his escape from Albuquerque following the bloody events of the series finale", SlashFilm writes.

While no cast members from the AMC series have been confirmed to return, series creator Vince Gilligan is spearheading the project after signing a three-year deal renewal with Sony Pictures Television this past July. Stay tuned for more news about the Breaking Bad movie.

Breaking Bad had five seasons to chronicle the slow, maddening descent from suburban banality into criminal underworld for Walter White, a chemistry teacher diagnosed with lung cancer.

It's also not yet known if Breaking Bad stars Bryan Cranston or Aaron Paul will participate in any way. After rumors of the movie's existence dropped yesterday, we confirmed today that the film will focus on Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) following the conclusion of the series.

Senate seat, flipping yet another seat to the GOP. "I'm simply saying the racists believe he's a racist". Back in August, Gillum made history by winning Florida's Democratic primary for governor.

As reported by the Albuquerque Journal, according to the New Mexico Film Office, a production now titled "Greenbrier" will "begin production in the Duke City mid-November through early February".

As THR reports, Gilligan will begin writing the script, and there's word that he may act as one of the film's executive producers and the film's director.

"This idea, from what I'm told, gets into ... at least a couple of the characters that were not completed as far as their journey".

There is no release date set for the Breaking Bad movie at this time.

While the series ended with Cranston's death in the show's final episode in 2013, he said he would "absolutely" consider reprising the role if asked. Breaking Bad wasn't above employing flashbacks. It could have - and probably would have - been canceled without Netflix helping fans discover the show.

Basically, all we know right now is that the movie - which has apparently been floating around under the working title (or is it a fake title?) of Greenbrier - is apparently in the works!
