CNN called White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders a liar Wednesday evening in a growing dispute over the conduct of Jim Acosta and the revocation of his press pass over a tussle with a White House intern.

Their arms momentarily come together as the woman tries to take the microphone off him. "The way you treat Sarah Huckabee is terrible", he said, referring to his press secretary.

A White House intern tried to take the microphone from the CNN journalist Jim Acosta during a press conference on Wednesday.

They began sparring after Acosta asked Trump about the caravan of migrants heading from Latin America to the southern U.S. border.

As WND reported earlier Wednesday, the conflict between the establishment media and the president reached new heights with Acosta trying to "challenge" and bully the president, to which Trump responded by calling the reporter "rude".

After asking his follow-up question, the staff member takes the microphone off Acosta and hands it to the next journalist.

"CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them", Trump said to Acosta. The way you treat Sarah Huckabee is disgusting, and the way you treat other people is awful.

During an ultra-rare press conference following Tuesday's midterm election, Trump escalated his ongoing war of words with CNN's Jim Acosta.

After a war of words between the journalist and president, Trump said CNN was fake news and, as such, an enemy of the people.
