Palace releases two stunning family photos to mark Prince Charles' birthday

It may be Prince Charles' birthday, but the Cambridge grandchildren steal the show in new portraits in honor of the future monarch turning 70.

Fashionable sisters-in-law Kate and Meghan star alongside their royal family in two new portraits released to mark Prince Charles' 70th birthday, and their unique senses of style are perfectly on display. They show the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall sitting on a bench with Prince George, 5, sitting on his grandfather's lap and Princess Charlotte, 3, next to Camilla.

The youngest entrant to the Royal family, 6-month-old Prince Louis is in the pic too, held by his mother, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge who is wearing a lovely blue and white polka dotted dress.

The guest list is likely to include Charles's friends from his public and private life, members of the royal family and others who have played an important role in the prince's career.

Celebrations have been taking place in honour of his birthday, including a BBC documentary Prince, Son, Heir: Charles at 70 and the We Are Most Amazed and Amused concert hosted by ITV.

"He reads "Harry Potter" and he can do all the different voices and I think children really appreciate that". Camilla pointing out something to Princess Charlotte and Prince George giggling with his mouth open.

"It was particularly special to capture such an informal and relaxed family portrait over a fun afternoon in the gardens of Clarence House", he said of Charles and Camilla's official London residence.

This is the first time we've seen the family all together since Prince Louis' christening in July.
