Early Showings of ‘Aquaman’ Set for Amazon Prime Members

Pictures that will allow Prime members in the United States to purchase tickets for early showings of Aquaman a week before its nationwide release.

The early screening will hit select AMC, Regal, National Amusement, and ArcLight theaters on December 15 - almost a full week before the movie debuts in wide release.

The new trailer shows off some colourful visuals and it looks like this film will present the underwater world in quite a surprising way that will entice the audience. Amazon says that tickets are limited, so if this something you really want to do, it's probably better to buy sooner rather than later. This exclusive early showing reserved for Prime members will take place on December 15.

"Aquaman is the Super Hero for everyone: he has unique, aquatic superpowers, but he's also a surface dweller just like us - if we were all as cool as Jason Momoa, that is!" said director James Wan.

Directed by Wan from a script by Will Beall (Gangster Squad) and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (The Conjuring 2), from the story by Geoff Johns, Wan and Beall, the film is being produced by Peter Safran and Rob Cowan, with Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Rob Cowan, Jon Berg, Walter Hamada, and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.

The movie also stars Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, Patrick Wilson as King Orm, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Ludi Lin as Captain Murk and Temeura Morrison as Arthur's dad Tom Curry.
