The Cut article said many ugly things about the newlywed couple. The Cut is known for its liberal views on women.

"That moment when jiju Nick Jonas found his name on mimi didi Priyanka Chopra's Mehandi", she captioned the picture. "It accused Priyanka of trapping Nick Jonas into a fraudulent relationship and being a 'global scam artist".

The magazine published its article claiming that Chopra tricked Jonas into a lifetime commitment.

Smith tried to make the case that Chopra crossing over from Bollywood to Hollywood is a result of ruthless social climbing.

- Chopra responded to Jonas direct-messaging her on Twitter in late 2016 by suggesting he text her instead, and this showcases her "Hollywoodness" because she had the audacity to tell another celebrity "that her "team" reads her direct messages". It seems like she's settling right into married life with the former member of the Jonas Brothers - and we couldn't be happier for them!

The couple's initial three-day wedding included two ceremonies, a sangeet, mehendi and even a cricket match, which saw both sides of their families compete on the field. The archived article concluded: "At times, marriage can be a beautifully wonderful union that warms even the coldest of hearts, but sadly, this union evokes no such feeling". Racism and sexism has no place in the modern world and should be called out immediately.

Joe Jonas is still riding high on the vibes from his brother's recent wedding.

"This is disgusting", wrote Joe.

At the event, Pri and Nick radiated happiness as they posed for red carpet photos and stared lovingly at each other. "Thank u, next", he tweeted.

"The article on @priyankachopra was sexist, racist and disgusting", she continued. The website, a part of NY magazine, replaced the article the next morning with an apology.
