Girl gets suspended for bullying, father makes her walk to school

On Monday, Cox made his daughter walk to school and posted a two-minute video on Facebook and titled it "Life lessons!"

The viral clip showing Mr Cox's daughter make her way to her OH school in 2℃ temperatures has been viewed more than 15m times and the father is adamant his method of punsihment was justified.

A father living in the midwestern USA state of OH made his 10-year-old daughter walk eight kilometres to school on a cold winter morning after she was kicked off her school bus for bullying.

"I'm not going to be another parent that's just going to brush things under the rug", he said.

Matt Cox's daughter Kirsten was suspended from riding the bus for three days after bullying another student, according to FOX47, and when Cox was told he would have to drive the girl, he opted to teach her a lesson instead.

The father's video has been viewed more than 16 million times and received more than 67,000 comments.

In an update to the original post, he assures the world that his daughter lost no limb to the cold and that, by the end of the walk, she had calmed down enough to understand where she'd been wrong.
