People lie, satellite images don't-hence why the US and South Korea are closely monitoring a new suspected missile site near North Korea's central border with China.

The exclusive footage, obtained by CNN, offers evidence that the Yeongjeo-dong missile base and a nearby, previously unreported, site remain active and have been continually upgraded, highlighting the continuing gulf between Pyongyang and Washington's views on denuclearisation.

New satellite imagery shows what appears to be improvements to the Yeongjeo-dong missile base, a facility located in North Korea's mountainous interior, as well as work on a new facility, Hoejung-ri, 11 kilometers (seven miles) away.

At a meeting on inter-Korea cooperation, Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon told South Korean lawmakers there have been "no specific discussions" with the North on a summit date, refuting reports the two sides have been in discussion.

U.S. president Donald Trump said after the summit that Chinese president Xi Jinping had agreed to work with him on North Korea, amplifying Pyongyang's concerns over the summit's implications for China's North Korea policy, including Chinese support for an easing of United Nations sanctions. "They have not lived up to the commitments so far", he told The Wall Street Journal's annual CEO Council conference.

An official at Seoul's presidential Blue House who spoke to JTBC on the condition of anonymity said the South needs an answer by the weekend in order to make plans for a summit, if it is to happen before the end of the year.

Wait.haven't we heard this before?
