Susan Loesser, the daughter of songwriter Frank Loesser, spoke to Inside Edition amid renewed outrage over the song.

The "CBS This Morning" the co-anchor expressed her affinity for the tune penned in 1944 by Frank Loesser. San Francisco radio station KOIT received negative responses after playing the song recently.

But I think it would be good if people looked at the song in the context of the time. "It's the decision of our listeners", WDOK midday host Desiray said, adding that the station's listeners help develop the holiday song lineup.

The song is about a woman inside a man's home, and she says it's time to go home, but the man tries convincing her to stay by saying it's cold outside.

While the headlines around "Baby, It's Cold Outside" have been more prominent in the last couple of years, the song was accused of being problematic for years before the allegations against Cosby resurfaced in 2014. "Back then it didn't mean you drugged me".
