The WINDIES men had a clinical 2 Test match victory versus England in Antigua to win the Wisden Trophy Series, a feat last achieved in the Caribbean 10 years ago.

"We will, of course, abide by the ICC ruling, but we have to wonder if such punitive action at a pivotal stage of the series is good for cricket".

Viv Richards believes England have been "outgunned" and surprised by the quality of West Indies during their Test series.

Pacer Keemo Paul has been drafted into the West Indies squad and Kraigg Brathwaite will lead the team in the absence of Jason Holder in the third and final Test against England, the Windies Cricket Board announced.

Cameron did not specify exactly what modification he favoured, and he is not arguing the letter of the law.

Holder was held responsible for his team's slow over rate during the win in Antigua.

The ICC said in a statement on Monday that the Windies were two overs short of their target for the match and also fined all of the hosts´ other players 20 percent of their match fees.

The Test ended inside three days but Jason Holder has still been suspended because of slow over rate which was quite shocking and made everyone support the 27-year-old.

But unfortunately, when everything was panning out for the home team, ICC charged the Windies captain with a one-match suspension which evoked a debate among cricket fans and experts.

Retired Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne also weighed in.

The sanction, which ESPNcricinfo reported on Tuesday was imminent, comes after the match finished inside three days, with variable bounce evident throughout. What a ridiculous decision.

Opener Kraigg Brathwaite, meanwhile, inched up one place to 33rd to be the highest-ranked West Indies batsman, two ahead of his skipper Holder.
