The Nets gave the ball to Russell on their final possession, but his long shot bounced off the rim and into Kyle Lowry's hands. Kawhi Leonard dribbled the clock down inside 10 seconds before he made his move, finding his favorite spot on the right elbow for a smooth bank shot to give Toronto a two-point lead.

Russell hit a tiebreaking triple with 50 seconds to go, but Danny Green answered with a three for the Raptors. Toronto could surely use Lin in the lineup, serving as the primary playmaker off the bench while Fred VanVleet is sidelined for at least the next three weeks with an injured thumb. VanVleet was hurt in the second quarter of Saturday's (Sunday, PHL time) win at NY.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Jeremy Lin is finalizing a buyout with Atlanta, which clears the way for him to sign with the Toronto Raptors.

In Toronto, he is expected to add depth behind Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet as the Raptors pursue the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, now a game behind Milwaukee.
