While the original storyline from the American Revolution would be retained, the game would include additional post-launch content as well, of which, players would be able to experience the hidden secret missions as well as the Tyranny of King Washington story arc.

If Ubisoft's own website has the game listed under Switch, and multiple retailers have a very convincing boxart image of the game along with fixed release dates, it's got to be coming to the console, right?

Interestingly, the mention of Nintendo Switch has now been removed from Assassin's Creed 3 page on the official site.

But if you want to do it all again, but slightly differently, then Ubisoft has announced that a New Game+ mode will be coming to the game at some point this month.

Assassin's Creed III Remastered is due out for PS4, PC, and Xbox One on March 29, and is also included in the Season Pass for Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Though the announcement Tweet (embedded above) doesn't give us a lot to go on, assuming new game plus works the same in Odyssey as it did in Origins, the player's current level, abilities, and gear should all be retained in any subsequent playthroughs.

Why Ubisoft chose to remaster one of the weakest Assassin's Creed titles is a mystery for many fans, but regardless, the game will be arriving soon. This is for Assassin's Creed 3 and the spin-off Liberation, which is part of the package.

It is also getting remastered along with Assassin's Creed 3.
