Super Mario Maker 2 includes tons of new content for level building, including slopes and content from Super Mario 3D World. We also got to see how Nintendo is handling the transition from the Wii U touchpad to the switch screen.

Whether this is the long-awaited reveal of the new mainline sequel for the Switch is unclear but it's interesting that the rumours make no mention of Animal Crossing or Luigi's Mansion 3, which may mean they're coming out later in the year. As in how long we don't have to wait to play it. The reveal at E3 a year ago showed us it features the familiar grid-based gameplay of previous entries, but with some notable changes, such as armies battling each other in combat and a 3D world for players to explore.
