What do you think of the Nintendo's take on VR?

All the games and experiences in Nintendo Labo: VR Kit are created to be shareable, fun and social. Get a sneak peek at what's included by checking out the new Nintendo Labo: VR Kit - Launch trailer on the official Nintendo YouTube channel.

Nintendo Labo: VR Kit - Starter Set + Blaster: Available at a suggested retail price of only $39.99, the Starter Set includes the Nintendo Switch software, plus all the components to build the Toy-Con VR Goggles and Toy-Con Blaster, as well as the Screen Holder and other accessories.

Marble Run (Toy-Con Elephant): Try to complete physics puzzles by using various objects to guide marbles through rings.

Doodle (uses Toy-Con Elephant): Create colourful 3D artwork by moving the trunk of the Toy-Con Elephant through the air, using various in-game tools and styles to bring your creations to life. Once finished, show off your masterpieces on the TV by docking your Nintendo Switch.

The Toy-Con Elephant, on the other hand, uses the elephant's trunk to move a 3D brush, ideal for stimulating players' creativity.

Auburn gets past New Mexico State in close game
Auburn won the only prior meeting, 66-64, in 1985 during the second round of that year's NCAA Tournament. Not long after, Yale almost pulled off the upset against No. 3 seed LSU, but the Tigers pulled away late.

Former Georgia Bulldog Justin Houston signs with the Colts
So after testing the market, Ballard eventually persuaded Houston to make Indianapolis his new home. The Colts have saved their salary cap room, resisting the urge to splurge early on free agents.

Florida Mail Bomber Cesar Sayoc Pleads Guilty in New York Court
Prosecutors say evidence against Sayoc included DNA linking him to 10 of the explosive devices and fingerprints on two of them. The change-of-plea hearing was revealed last week after a phone conference between prosecutors, Sayoc's lawyers and a judge.

The Toy-Con Wind Pedal can be used to play a game that involves jumping over balls thrown at you by bears. There's also a two-player Blaster game called Kablaster that involves vacuuming up fruit and shooting it into the mouths of hippos.

Wield your might Toy-Con Blaster once more as you compete against your friends to be the best hippo feeder. Yes, hippo feeding! Fling different types of fruit toward the hippos to lure them to your side of the pool and score the most points. There's a wind pedal you stomp on to jump as a frog in a puzzle game. The wind resistance from the Wind Pedal will make you feel as though you're actually experiencing a breeze.

Once you have the goggles and accessories built, you'll want to insert your Switch console into the screen holder, attach the prop you want to use, and then add the Joy-Cons to their appropriate place in the prop. While the programming interface in the previous Labo versions was simply a method to devise interactive experiences with your own cardboard Toy-Cons by programming how they behave based on certain actions, the Toy-Con Garage in Labo VR is a full game development space. Moreover, the Labo: VR kits is said to be one of the least expensive VR gaming bundle compared to the famous PlayStation VR that cost around over $200. The full VR Kit (£69.99) includes the VR Goggles, Toy-Con Blaster, Toy-Con Camera, Toy-Con Bird, Toy-Con Wind Pedal and Toy-Con Elephant, but the Starter Set + Blaster (£34.99) includes just Goggles and Blaster.

However, despite PlayStation's VR being made of heavy plastic and which offers tech specs that are more advanced, players or families wanting to use VR for the first time are expected to find the new Labo kit more appealing. Do you know some kids who would enjoy it?

This might just be from my boring adult perspective, but I can see most of the minigames in all four of the Labo kits losing their fun after a few plays. Each accessory is different with where the Joy-Cons go and how they work, so you'll want to make sure to take a look at the manual and instructions of your kit to ensure that everything's ready-to-go once they're put together.
