Jürgen Klopp: Liverpool need ideal finish

Jurgen Klopp claimed that Liverpool laid the ghost of Steven Gerrard's fateful slip against Chelsea to rest by beating the Blues 2-0 at Anfield to move back to the top of the Premier League.

"We expect them to win all their games so we just need to get as many points as possible and if we're champions then great but if not (we are) still a really good football team".

While Manchester City are still narrow favourites to claim the title, Klopp's men are making an unbelievable fist of it.

Manager Klopp said: "We controlled and dominated the game for 80 minutes, which is the best you can say about a game against Chelsea".

"We were a little bit unlucky for the second goal, for the timing", said Sarri, who was genuine in his congratulations for Salah after bumping into him after the game. And I don't want to minimise that but I loved the first goal exactly the same. We play our game.

At one point in the second half, Chelsea failed to convert a risky attack sparked by a similar slip from Andy Robertson, and Klopp claimed the incident should draw a line under Gerrard's error.

Trump considering sending illegals to sanctuary cities
Sanders said the idea would be to spread out the number of migrants so the strain would not be on "one or two border communities". Trump and his aides discussed reinstating family separations, too, but Trump later said it wasn't happening.

"Good, let's try. Let's try that".

Liverpool, in pursuit of a first title since 1990, lead by two points with four to play, although City do have a game in hand. "If that's enough, perfect, and if not, we can not change it".

Salah stunned his old club by cushioning the ball with a velvet touch out on the right before cutting inside and rattling a thunderous strike into the far corner of the net to send Anfield insane.

"It was a brilliant day overall, two great goals, a clean sheet and a top performance really-so overall we are delighted". We hit the post for the 35th time in our season.

"We were a little bit unlucky for the timing of the second goal, and then a little bit unlucky because in three minutes we had three goal opportunities - two with Hazard and one with (Gonzalo) Higuain".
