Luke Walton Named Head Coach Of The Sacramento Kings

With the search for Luke Walton's successor underway after he mutually agreed with the organization to leave his role as head coach, there are some Lakers rumors that the team has been granted permission to talk to a possible replacement.

Despite adding LeBron James to the roster, the Lakers struggled in the 2018-19 season and did not make the playoffs in Walton's third year coaching the men in yellow and purple.

"After evaluating the season, I determined that we need to move in a different direction in order to take us to the next level", Divac said in a statement.

When it comes to Mosley, he has former experience with the Cavaliers, as he spent four years there as an assistant before leaving in 2014 to join the Denver Nuggets for three years.

Today, the Kings confirmed that Luke Walton will be their head coach moving forward.

Some met the news with skepticism.

Personally, I would love to see Williams be the Lakers coach, and if Pelinka can finally do the right thing and show he is capable of doing his job, the chances of a deal being done are very very likely.
